Holding Paper

My ability to not write a paper.
My thoughts avoiding the paper a bit of a self portrait.

Tongue River Dam

Tongue River Dam headgate at sundown.

Yellowtail Afterbay Dam

This is a secondary dam built below the main Yellowtail dam.  This dam functions as a regulator for the river to maintain the same amount of water throughout the day.  This resevoir can fluctuate 15 feet a day.

Yellowtail Dam

This Dam is similar to Hungry Horse dam where it is an arch type massive dam that also has extremely limited access.  this is the only legal viewing position of the dam. Walking anywhere off the road is a violation of the tribal land agreements on the reservation.
Punishment for trespassing on dam: 6 months imprisonment and/or $5000 fine.

Hungry Horse Dam

This dam pissed me off dammit. they refused me access anywhere. Tours stopped after 9/11.  the tour was one of my most memorable experiences of childhood.  Now no one will get to experience that.
I might not even include this in the book just thinking about it makes me livid.

Rainbow Dam

Rainbow Dam, Great Falls.

I only shot 2 of the 5 dams in great falls because I thought they were lame (only about 50 feet tall) and they are very popular to photograph.

Black Eagle Dam

Black Eagle dam, great falls.

Landscape page test for web

This is the landscape page for my web site. the other pages are going to be similar using the abstract landscapes.

when hovering over nothing the sky will be empty.
when hovering over LANDSCAPES sign the sun will appear.
when hovering over the NIGHTSHOTS sign the moon will appear.
(shadow goes with the light too)
