This is a class blog for photography students at Montana State University. The primary purpose of this site is as an educational tool for students to post photographs and comment on each others work.
I really like the first and third image. the second is good for texture but theres not really anything compositionally to grasp on to. the last one is too busy for me. i think it might be the negative space not being so negative. are you opposed to digital manipulation in your pics? a desaturating in the background or a slight gaussian blur could help.
Beautiful images. I disagree with Keegan about the first (moss) image. I think for it to go along with the series it needs more saturation..compared with the others it seems too dull to me.
i really like these images, they are soft and beautiful. the second photograph of the hay is the least interesting to me, maybe you should play with some change of focus to draw the viewer to a particular area to make it a little more interesting. I just feel a little lost when I look at it, to where my eye is supposed to go
