Just in case "ya'll" were considering moving to Lubbock Texas after graduating, it's pretty much the flattest place I have ever been in my life. But the Buddy Holly museum looked pretty neat. With the exception of Texas Tech, I think this place is the Butte of Texas. It's a ghost town!

These are part of a series for Non-Fiction, the assignment was called "abhorrent" and I find the lengths in which people especially women go to look "beautiful" a little disturbing. But this is hypocritical in some ways, since I'm not immune to all these things myself. I would like to take this idea further, perhaps the more extreme things that people are doing for beauty: surgery, modification, disorders.

Hello Everyone - I know that the end of the semester is super busy for everyone, but there are still openings for exhibits in the Exit Gallery. All I need is a CD of the work that you want to exhibit, an artist statement about the work, $15.00 entry fee and a self addressed envelope to SUB room 282B (Aka Student Activities) by May 11th.
This is a great opportunity for students to get their work shown. Even if you are a graduating senior you can still submit work.... If you have any questions contact:

I see these birds all the time flying around main street and I always want to photograph them. I finally got them mid-swoop. However, cameras are much worse than cellphones, don't try this at home.

project Im working on. I'd like to keep the choppy photo ablum feeling with these images, Im just a little worried it will look to fabricated, although it's not...suggestions?

this is from a project I'm working on, and delving through old family photos. Most of them were stuck in old photo albums from the 60's & 70's, and the acid has ate through some of them. I find it bittersweet.
