New one for my book

1090 Club (Billings), Deny the Dinosaur (Missoula), Maps and Atlases (Chicago), and These Arms are Snakes (Seattle). The show last night was in this insane decrepit building, which had this awesome lecture room off the room where the show was. So Zak and I herded them all into the room for a group shot after the show, around Midnight or so.

My family secret....

I recently started scanning images from my grandmother's photo album, and also from my mother's "stash" of family photos that she was keeping in a disorganized drawer. Here are some of my grand parents.
... and my parents right after they moved to Montana in 1971....

I know I didn't take these, but I find the one of my grandad really amusing and I thought I'd share it.

Flying Fish

This is the framework for the Zoetrope that I am making. A zoetrope is an cylinder with a series of pictures on the inner wall. When rotated and viewed through slits on the side, the pictures become animated.

P.S. If anyone has a record player that they can let me use in class tomorrow I would appreciate it- you can email me at brownerbrowner@hotmail.com. Thanks.

Wave

A couple of new images for my book

I shot these last weekend at Higgins Hall in Missoula. I love shooting The Sharktopus because they bring their own light show, and make it so easy to shoot without a flash. The other bands were Coretta Scott, Goodnight Sunrise, and Glimpse.
Sorry about the small size and watermarks, they were reformatted for the bands websites.

Miss Me

Idea for my self project. I am moving out of my house, and was thinking about all the little bits of me that will remain, and all the usual everyday things I will miss out on. I'm not sure if I like it as such, I look a little too odd/nude. I might reshoot with a basic non-distracting outfit on so I don't look like such a creeper!

Daemon

This is the start of an idea I have for a project photoshopping people into historical demons. While there is no specific demon associated with this image I plan on using lore, and text descriptions throughout the project

Contemplating Stomach

self portrait

I'm hungry and I want some iced tea.

chaos to order

Did I get your attention?
I have an idea for a project.  I want to use one random image from everyone in class to make a digital photomontage. You can choose to be anonymous or have your name in the appropriated images list.
the image can be of anything.
Please give me an image sometime in the next week before spring break with your name as the filename and let me know if you want to be recognized in this project.

you can also email the image to my email.  me.atatat@gmail.com

The breasted tux was just to get your attention.

Me, Me and ME

Test idea for self project. Still a work in progress.

Disaster at the 15th

A mini-golf course in Weirs Beach, NH. By far one of the most extravagant I have seen and for sale too.
