Because I'm sick of working...
I took these ridiculous pin ups of my friends a few weeks ago. We started talking about those pictures from the 50's where the woman is getting on the bus, carrying groceries, or doing some other daily task, when her underwear fall down for no obvious reason. So we decided to take a picture making fun of those.

I like the mix of colors and the expressions the girls have. However, I think that you really need to take this project out of studio for it to be truly effective. I would ask Streamline if they wouldn't mind a photoshoot on the bus.
I hadn't thought about seriously pursuing these as a series. But I like that idea. I did these as commission, as gifts for the girls' husbands.
if i were you, which i'm obviously not, i would continue with this series. the concept is quite interesting. i agree with danielle, enviro portriats all the way
has anyone thought about turning photographs into the post WW2 style posters? or better yet how you would go about that in photoshop? cool idea
