This dam pissed me off dammit. they refused me access anywhere. Tours stopped after 9/11. the tour was one of my most memorable experiences of childhood. Now no one will get to experience that.
I might not even include this in the book just thinking about it makes me livid.

Overall I really like your dam series. Eventhough you have negative feelings about this picture, I find it to be visually one of the strongest. I still really like the night shots. I am looking forward to seeing the book.
I have heard your stories of frustration from your visit to this dam, but I agree that this is a good image. It appears to be an enormous and powerful place, and perhaps it is worth including. It is still an amazing sight for someone who has not seen it before.
The image is pretty successful, but I wanted to comment that I grew up in the Flathead and went to this dam and had numerous tours growing up. I was not aware that they had closed it to the public. That is sad and disapointing.
I can understand the security concerns though. Shitty!
